After a year of trying every natural way of healing my body as well as trying NSAIDs and Prednizone, I have finally given in to the fact that I will have to take real arthritis drugs. Thus, later this week or early next week I go on HUMIRA, an immune suppressant. I have to inject it in my leg epi pen style every two weeks. It costs $1800 per month (if you don't have insurance.) I wonder how in the world people in this country pay for drugs like that. Most people are poor. It makes me really wonder why people are so against Obama Care. I don't get it... why do people cut off their noses to spite their faces? Anyhoo, I'd pay more taxes to have universal health care. I'm 100% supportive of that, now that I have really seen how ridiculously expensive health care is. Luckily, for now I have good health care.
