Long, amazing week

My week at RockyGrass Academy and then the festival (Fri-Sun) was pretty amazing. I built the most beautiful, tangible thing I've ever created in my life--my mandolin. I've been playing it, and hopefully by next year I'll actually be able to jam with the hundreds of musicians who show up for RockyGrass.

I'll be writing a variety of articles about my experiences over the next few days and will post them on my blog as I do them. Today I've got to get back to reality. Long day of editing and writing ahead of me, and then I head to my mother's house in Virginia at 6a.m. (bleh--early) tomorrow morning. More later!
